Effects of the Concrete Strength and FRP Reinforcement Type on the Non-Linear Behavior of Concrete Deep Beams

To provide sustainable reinforced concrete deep beams, the replacement of steel rebars by FRP with high-chemical resistance is proposed researchers. However, effects strength, top and web longitudinal reinforcements, types flexural on non-linear performance beams have rarely been evaluated. This study numerically assessed reinforcements strength behaviour GFRP- CFRP-strengthened various shear span-to-overall depth (a/h) ratios. As per results, highest tensile stress was obtained for reinforcement, in CFRP reinforcement more than that GFRP under failure load. Meanwhile, results high- normal-strength (16.4%) were lower those without (22.3%). Therefore, moderately compensated low normal absence rebar to reinforce carrying ultimate Furthermore, participation high-strength a higher amount loading.
